Written by Esther - coming soon Day 6 Wednesday An eventful night!!!! The rain pored and the wind blow the night was spent knocking in pegs and stopping the tent blowing flat, waking to find the middle of the tent full of puddles all we could do was wait for it to stop! By 10 we braved the weather and headed into town with a bag full of wet clothes for the laundrette and a spot of brunch, John and Esther wandered round the museum meeting up after, by chance, with Andy and Dan who said that the we had a tour of the Ales of Scilly Brewery which was on the other side of the island and only 45 mins to get there. We made it with 10 mins to spare, while only small we had a very informative tour and a free bottle of Scuppered ale so as we wandered back in to town we thought we must support the local ale, so stopping in the "Bishop's Finger" (real name Bishop and Wolf - Andy) for a quick one then up to the Mermaid and back to the Bishop and finished the barrel (72 pints in 9 hours - not all by us but we had a good go!)
